A spin on history...

Hayes was originally the centre of the record-making universe.

In the early 20th century, The Gramophone and Typewriter Ltd. (the precursor to EMI) moved to Hayes. From 1910, they released records under the His Master's Voice label.

Our foundations can be traced back to the 'The Old Vinyl Factory'.

The EMI factory continued to flourish, producing vinyl records for many famous artists.
