The dos and don'ts to keep in mind
You must receive permission from the team before bringing any pet into your apartment.
We generally allow one pet per apartment but if you want more, please let us know and we will review your application to ensure that you have enough space in your apartment.
Ensure that your pets do not disturb your neighbours with excessive barking or disruptive behaviour. Dogs should be kept on a lead and under control at all times outside of your apartment, including hallways, reception areas, and internal and external amenity spaces.
Make sure your pets have been vaccinated and regularly treated for fleas or worms (if appropriate).
Dogs should not be left alone in the property for more than 4 hours at a time.
Unless clear arrangements have been made for their care, other pets should not be left in the apartment when you are away for long periods of time.
Clean up after your pet immediately and dispose of pet waste safely and hygienically.
You are responsible for any damage caused by your pet, and we will recharge you for any necessary cleaning or repairs within your apartment or communal areas of the building.
You should treat your pet in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act 2006. If we suspect that a pet has been abused, neglected or abandoned, we will be compelled to report it to the appropriate animal welfare organisation.
Should any pet injure any other pets, residents, or the onsite team, we reserve the right to ask the resident to remove the pet from the premises immediately and report the incident through the appropriate channels.
If anyone persistently fails to comply with this policy, we will be left with no choice but to revoke consent to keep a pet or serve notice on the resident to vacate the apartment before the end of the tenancy agreement's term.
Please note this policy applies to both new and existing tenancies where a resident wishes to obtain a pet part way through their tenancy or where residents are looking after pets on a temporary basis.
