Our Story
So, why are we called Pall Mall Press?
Our name derives from the former print site that stood before us.
‘Brown & Rawcliffe’ established their premises at the Exchange Works, Liverpool, in June 1894.
‘Wishing you were here.’
Brown & Rawcliffe developed a series of products & printing techniques that changed the way society shared photo memories.
Their photographic albums & postcards showcased Britain’s industrial towns, cities & countryside.
Keeping
the history alive
Our logo and entire aesthetic is a reflection of our past. From our brand colours to our font, we’ve kept a close association to print.
We’ve also kept some of the original artefacts on display in the main reception area.
There’s a lot to see and do in this bustling area of Liverpool. We’ve listed a few of our faves below, just to give you a taste!
